MESH Cities Founder Gets My Place My Brand Award

MESH Cities founder Robert Ouellette is honoured to receive the My Place My Brand “Pioneers Award.” The award acknowledges design innovations that improve the livability of the world’s cities. Other recipients of the award—given at a special ceremony on October 30th, 2013 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia—are recognized leaders in the field. They include:

Emeritus Professor Dr. Yi-Fu Tuan has been chosen as laureate for 2012 of the Prix International de Geographic Vautrin Lud, regarded as the ‘Nobel Prize’ for the geographers, and as a Saint-Exupery ‘Little Prince’ of Geography.

CHARLES LANDRY

FATHER OF CREATIVE CITY

Charles Landry is an international authority on the use of imagination and creativity in urban change. He helps cities identify and make the most of their resources and to reach their potential by triggering their inventiveness and thinking.

PROFESSOR CARLO RATTI

Professor Carlo Ratti is an architect and engineer by training; Carlo practices in Italy and teaches at MIT, where he directs the Senseable City Lab, a research group that explores how new technologies are changing the way we understand, design and ultimately live in cities.

Kingsley was a founding director of The Australian Ireland Fund and for two years served as Executive Director responsible for the growth of the Fund in Australia and setting up The Ireland Fund of New Zealand.
