Maarten Hajer on The Energetic Society
As our readers know, we are always searching for systems and approaches leading to the holy grail of sustainable, livable cities. In keeping with that objective, MESH Cities book contributor Michelle Kasprzak sent along this link to a talk by Maarten Hajer Director of the Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency. Hajer's take on creating an "Energetic Society" includes the dual enabling forces of technology and entrepreneurship as key success factors in the mission of creating a sustainable world through the reinvention of governance structures.
